ace hotel new york
Portland, Oregon-based Ace Hotel Group has taken their fresh, cool and relaxed Pacific Northwest attitude to NYC! The clash of cultures couldn’t work better. The hotel features a hodgepodge of vintage furnishings, custom artwork and musical equipment. The eclectic 247 room hotel is designed for young travelers and offers budget-friendly rates as well as a saloon-inspired restaurant called Breslin, from the owners of the Spotted Pig.

Amenities include room service, free wi-fi, and a gym. Check out the lobby bar scene, where DJs often play music. It’s open late. And check the calendar for upcoming events. There’s a ballroom that’s a good venue for big events or parties. The accommodations are pet-friendly!

This historic hotel is the oldest hotel in New York City.   It is located in the historic Bowery section of Manhatten.  The hotel was built in the 18th century and had different names before becoming the Sohotel, the first being  The Westchester.  The Bowery is where George Washington entered the city with his troops and set up the government of the US. in 1783.  You will not find anything like this in New York for the price.   It is very affordable, and yet located in walking distance of the most trendy neighborhoods in NYC such as Soho, Nolita, Little Italy, China Town and East Village.   There is something for everyone here, and it is never boring.   Wether you are on business or vacation, you will be very comfortable here.  The staff are courteous and professional, and eager to make sure your stay is memorable and enjoyable.    The rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable with all of the amenities.   There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you will not mind, because there are so many interesting options in walking distance.
